Policy Case Competition

[slide-anything id=’144′]

Undergraduate and graduate students from all over the United States will have the opportunity to research, design, and present their team’s policy proposals on current issues.

The competition is separated into three rounds: policy memos, presentations, and final presentations. The Committee will grade two-page policy memos from every team and only a total of 30 teams will continue to the second round. In the second and third rounds, a panel of judges comprised of experts and professionals in their respective fields will judge in real time and give feedback. In previous years, the Committee hosted judges from the Federal Reserve, Google, WIRED, Goldman Sachs, NYC Mayor’s Office, the Manhattan Institute, The Wall Street Journal, and more.

The Policy Case Competition is a great way for students to gain hands-on experience in policy-making outside the classroom, with professor-led workshops to help competitors refine their skills in policy memo writing, presenting, and team dynamics.

We are excited to be hosting our 5th annual competition this year and look forward to your submissions!
